How to Perform a Volley

Step 1:
When approaching the ball you are going to want to be balanced and swing your leg back for power; as is demonsrated in this photo. You are going to want to keep a good eye on the ball and know where you want to strike it.

Step 2:
The split second before you strike the volley you must aim for just a little bit under the ball. If you aim to high high on the ball you will hit it into the ground and if you aim to high it will soar above the bar. Stiking a little bit under the ball will lead to a clean strike on frame.

Step 3:
As you stike your volley you want to hit the center as we talked about before with your laces. Striking the ball with your laces will lead to a more powerful and clean strike on frame. The power from your leg swing will be exerted when you strike the ball with your laces.

Step 4:
After you have perfromed your volley you must follow through or your strike will not be as cleam. The follow through is important so that you get more power and accuaracy on your strike.

If you perfrom all these steps the proper way you will hopefully have a clean and powerful strike on frame. You may not succeed your first few attempts, but continue to try practice.

How To Perform A Bicycle Kick, 6 Step Steps!

Step 1:
When going to perform a bicycle kick your mentality has to be brave and ambitious. You have to throw your body at the ball and not be afraid. As most beginners are, which is nervous, you just have to clear your head and go for it. Do not be afraid of falling down after you have performed your bicycle kick. BE BRAVE!!!

Step 2:
Toss the ball in the air, it may take a few times for the right toss, but you are trying to throw the ball just above head height and strike it on the way down. After, you have tossed the ball in the air and jumped up in the air you are going to lead with your non-dominant foot through the air.

Step 3:
Once your non-dominant leg has been thrown through the air for momentum(to get more pace on your strike), you are going to bring you dominant leg up. When you bring up your dominant leg you are really going to have to throw it up with power to hit the ball hard.

Step 4:
Once you have thrown your dominant leg towards the ball you are going to strike the ball with your laces in the middle of the ball. If you strike the ball too high then your result will be a dribbler to the goalkeeper, but if you strike the ball too low then your result will be a ball rising over the goalkeeper's head and the crossbar.

Step 5:
After striking the middle of the ball, you are going to follow through with your striking leg. If you do not follow through the ball your shot will be weak or it will soar over the crossbar.

Step 6:
After you have performed your bicycle kick, you are going to fall to the ground. You have to not be afraid and put your arm down to embrace for the impact when you hit the ground. You are going to ball on your back and butt. It will not hurt at all.

After following these 6 steps, hopefully it will lead to a successful strike on frame! Good luck, and remember you will not be able to master this at first, but with practice you will get this down and it will end up being easy.
